Relaxed Pet Tiger Gets a Ride on the Kayak and Enjoys Every Second originally appeared on PetHelpful.

People love to take their pets on outdoor adventures with them, whether it be hiking, boating, skiing, or kayaking. We’ve all seen videos of cats and dogs enjoying the great outdoors with their humans, but it’s not every day that you see a tiger doing it!

Animal trainer Kody Antle, son of Tiger King star Doc Antle, is well-known for giving fans a glimpse into his crazy daily life with his exotic pets. Often referred to as the “Real-Life Tarzan,” Kody definitely lives up to the nickname, as you’ll see in this video where he’s casually kayaking with his pet tiger!

This was wild to watch! The tiger is so relaxed and unbothered…we have a feeling he’s kayaked with Kody before! We love how he’s got his paw in the water, enjoying floating down the river without having to do any work!

Viewers loved the video and left hundreds of comments. @lameexxs said simply, “Life of Pi!” which is what we were thinking, too!

@librad80libra pointed out, “He’s bigger than the boat Hunni, yesssss!!!” and @beat.riz453a added, “The tiger is having a good time!” @you_better_stash wasn’t wrong when they said, “1000+ aura!”

Cool Facts About Tigers

While you might want a pet tiger to pal around with after watching Kody’s video, it’s not the best idea. Tigers are wild animals, apex predators, and the largest cats in the world. They may look “friend-shaped,” but for the rest of us regular folks, they’re definitely not pets. Tigers require expert care, massive space, and specialized knowledge that goes way beyond what most people can provide safely.

Not only that, but they are big! Adult tigers can weigh up to 800 pounds and measure to 10 feet long. Imagine trying to feed a meat eater that big each day – they eat 40-60 pound of meat every day to two days.

Tigers are great swimmers, and although they’re huge, they’re fast runners, too. They can run up to 40 MPH. They’re also loud – they’re roars can be heard up to almost 2 miles away, and if you hear them coming, you should probably head the other way!
