Objects were thrown across a rooftop bar in Brooklyn as a severe thunderstorm brought winds of up to 60 mph to New York City on Saturday, June 7.
Patrons at the SAA venue were seen fleeing the balcony as coolers and cushions were thrown around the pool area by the strong winds. A number can be seen running for cover inside.
The thunderstorm left behind a trail of damage that disrupted train service and delayed flights across the area, according to local reports. Downed trees were reported in Queens and the Bronx, as well as New Jersey. Credit: Oluwasegun Oyetunde via Storyful
