Firefighters battled a brush fire in Phoenix Sunday morning, the city’s fire department said.
Crews fought the flames of the first-alarm blaze near 51st Avenue and Broadway Road. Phoenix Fire estimates the fire to be around two acres.
The fire is burning in the riverbed and no structures are threatened. Officials said 51st Avenue was closed between Broadway Road and Southern Avenue.
