According to a recent study, Arizona ranks 40th for overall child well-being.
The study, the “Kids Count Data Book” by the Annie E. Casey Foundation, shows a slight increase from last year’s ranking of 42nd.
In its 37th year of publication, the Kids Count Data Book provides statewide numbers to help leaders see where progress is being made and where greater support is needed.
