Two North Texas restaurants earned spots on Yelp’s list of the top 100 barbecue restaurants in America.
The list, which was last updated in May 2026, was compiled by identifying businesses in the barbecue category, then ranking those spots based on the volume and ratings of reviews given by Yelp Elite Squad members for each restaurant — or “locals who know their cue,” according to the listing.
Texas had a fair representation with 13 restaurants making the list of 100 must-try barbecue spots, including two in North Texas. Here’s the Texas barbecue joints that made the list by ranking order (the North Texas ones are in bold):
