PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Authorities are looking for two suspects they said beat a Philadelphia mother to death during a robbery over the weekend.
45-year-old Keisha Farrow was found beaten to death in an alleyway near 24th Street and Lehigh Avenue in the Strawberry Mansion neighborhood around 530 a.m.
Farrow was last seen around 2 a.m. walking with two Black males.
As bricks soaked with blood lay darkened on the street, surveillance video captured the killing on tape, says Deputy Police Commissioner Frank Vanore.
“They are walking in the area of this alleyway, and you see them go out of the frame and then immediately, when you see them minutes later, the decedent is not with them,” he said.
Farrow was a dedicated mother of four children, including an almost one-year-old baby.
“We are going to ask the public to help identify these individuals,” Vanore said.
As with every homicide, there’s a $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
