The Axon saga continues.
The Taxpayers Against Awful Apartment Zoning Exemptions, otherwise known as TAAAZE, has filed two lawsuits in an attempt to stop security technology company Axon from building its future world headquarters — complete with 600 apartments and 600 condominiums. The suits were filed in Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Michael Herrod’s court.
The first suit claims Senate Bill 1543, which gives Axon the right to build the campus and avoid a referendum on the issue, is not constitutional because it is a “special interest” bill designed only to give Axon what it wants.
