So what’s your New York story? Born here, or just arrived?
I moved to New York after COVID to find happiness. I had been a DCist before then, routinely coming into the city to represent clients and support state level policy and legislative efforts, like the Enough is Enough Law and the SUNY Sexual Violence Prevention Group. I had been regularly coming up to New York for work and friends over a decade, and decided after Trump took over DC after Black Lives Matter, that it was time to move out of a federal district. I have lived here roughly five years now, first on the UWS (71st and Amsterdam), now in Hell’s Kitchen (42nd and 11th), and I plan to be a lifelong New Yorker. I have found my city and my people.
