A hum of excitement filled the air at Dallas FIFA Fan Fest in Fair Park as Team USA fans turned out to cheer the team on during their World Cup opening match against Paraguay. That hum turned into a roar that may have been heard from Fair Park, over 1,400 miles away in Los Angeles, where Team USA defeated Team Paraguay 4-1. Drops of beer scattered through the air as fans jumped up and screamed with joy, surrounded by stars and stripes plastered on their clothes or wrapped around their bodies.
Team USA is set to take on Team Australia at Dallas Stadium in Arlington on Friday, June 19. Fans not in attendance at Dallas Stadium will be back in Fair Park for Dallas FIFA Fan Fest, rooting for another Team USA win.
