Megdal opens the show with a clip of his conversation with Jones about her return to the court. “Yeah, I mean, it felt great to be back out there,” Jones said. “Obviously, it’s been a while since I’ve been on the court, but, you know, my teammates held it down for me while I was out, and everybody was excited for me to be back in.”
Later on, Megdal includes moments from a conversation he had with Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White on Caitlin Clark’s timeline. While White didn’t have much of an update, she did have some thoughts on All-Star weekend. “I’m incredibly proud of our organization, our city, just the attention to detail, the way that they showcased the W,” White said. “It was just a really good environment.”
