Santa Clarita Valley families, or anyone searching for a unique summer date-night destination, may want to add Perch L.A. to their list.
In the 162nd installment of KHTS’ Extremely Quirky Destinations series, we’re heading to the heart of Downtown Los Angeles to explore Perch.
Perch is a French-inspired rooftop bistro and bar located atop the historic Pershing Square Building in Downtown Los Angeles.
Spanning the 15th and 16th floors, the venue is known for its panoramic views of the Los Angeles skyline, vintage-inspired décor, rooftop fire pits and lively atmosphere.
Along with its elevated dining experience, Perch regularly features live entertainment including jazz, R&B, pop classics and Top 40 performances. DJs take over Friday and Saturday nights beginning at 10 p.m., while live music is featured Monday through Thursday and Sundays starting at 7 p.m.
The current live music lineup includes:
- Mondays – Molly Miller: Led by Dr. Molly Miller (Jason Mraz, Black Eyed Peas, Molly Miller Trio), the quartet performs instrumental originals and vocal covers spanning jazz, R&B and pop.
- Tuesdays – Julian Allen: Drummer and songwriter Julian Allen (Theo Katzman, Borns, Pomplamoose) performs original songs alongside soul, singer-songwriter and pop favorites.
- Wednesdays – Rachel Mazer: Songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Rachel Mazer (Ariana Grande, Vulfpeck, Kate Hudson) delivers original music mixed with jazz and soul classics.
- Thursdays & Sundays – Ben Rose: Drummer Ben Rose (Lea Michele, Darren Criss, Pomplamoose) leads a rotating group performing pop, R&B and timeless hits.
For guests looking to host private gatherings, Perch offers several event spaces, including:
- 5th Street Patio – Private outdoor terrace for up to 28 seated or 30 reception guests
- 15th Floor Buyout – Indoor and outdoor event space accommodating up to 200 seated or 325 reception guests
