A Jacksonville man is facing multiple charges after court documents accuse him of assaulting someone with a truck and damaging property.
Steven Dale Pilkington, 47, was arrested on Sunday, July 20, by the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office.
Warrants show that Pilkington assaulted a male subject with a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado with the intent to kill him. They also show that he failed to stop the vehicle at the scene of an accident, which occurred on Riggs Road in Maysville. He is also accused of smashing a window out on a house and threatening the use of a deadly weapon against a female he was in a recent dating relationship stating he was going to get a gun and “air the house out with her inside.”
He faces the following charges:
- AWDW intent to kill
- Tampering with vehicle
- Hit/run property damage
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
- Crime of domestic violence
The incident report is in reference to a domestic violence call. Warrants show he received a $40,000 secured bond.
