JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – Applications are open for a franchise opening its first restaurant in an Eastern Carolina city next month.

Raising Cane’s is opening at 1106 Western Boulevard in Jacksonville on July 13 with 160 positions available, starting at $13 an hour. This is the company’s first restaurant in the city.

The company says it is hiring for several positions, such as cashiers, fry cooks, and customer service associates.

Interested candidates can apply online to schedule an interview or attend a walk-in interview at the restaurant.

The company says employees will receive weekly paychecks, flexible schedules, and an additional $1 per hour for hours worked after 10 p.m.

“We’re thrilled to open our doors in Jacksonville and become part of such a vibrant community,” said Raising Cane’s Area Leader of Restaurants Bobbi Frye. “This new restaurant allows us to create great job opportunities for residents while building a crew passionate about delivering an exceptional experience to every customer.”

The July 13 grand opening will offer a year of free Cane’s for 20 customers, community events, and other activities to celebrate the restaurant.
