Avid Taylor Swift wedding-watchers and even casual observers near her Watch Hill mansion in Westerly, Rhode Island have noticed nuptials happening at one-time rumored Swift-Kelce venue Ocean House on June 19.
The wedding coincides with recent sightings of Swift at her home, which is just steps away from Ocean House, and rumors that the songstress is in town with her friends and family for a wedding-related event.
While the prevailing rumor is that Swift and her fiancé, football player Travis Kelce will tie the knot at Madison Square Garden on July 3, nothing has been officially confirmed, and the coincidence has people asking:
Has the “Love Story” singer pulled a fast one on everyone and is actually getting married at Ocean House?
For now, it appears that rumor is just in our “Wildest Dreams” and it is another couple getting married.

Put simply: No.
Wedding planner Elizabeth Hall, of Elizabeth Hall Events, told CNN in an interview that, while there is a “wonderful couple” getting married at Ocean House this weekend, that couple is not Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
Hall is the event planner for the weekend’s wedding, as evidenced by a post on her Instagram story of her arriving at the famous venue.
Additionally, a Providence Journal staff member who was in Westerly at the time of the wedding said that the Watch Hill neighborhood and nearby attractions were not crowded, and while there was an outdoor event tent set up at Ocean House (as there was for former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo’s wedding in 2024) guests were seen arriving in their own cars, rather than the black, chauffeured SUVs you might expect to see ferrying celebrities to a high profile wedding.
Is Taylor Swift in Westerly?
On Thursday, June 18, TMZ reported a gathering at Swift’s Watch Hill mansion on the night of Wednesday, June 17 – just four days after Swift’s heavily rumored Rhode Island wedding date of June 13.
Citing an eyewitness who lives in the area, the report says a large security presence and a lit-up house could be seen on Swift’s property on June 17, though the mansion’s lights typically remain off. TMZ reports another onlooker filmed a video of four unidentified women on the rooftop balcony, with three in black robes and the fourth dressed in white.
