THE BEAGLES MADE NATIONAL HEADLINES AFTER A LOCAL ANIMAL RESCUE GROUP HELPED SAVE THEM FROM A TESTING FACILITY IN WISCONSIN. THESE BEAGLES ARE HEADED TO THEIR FOREVER HOMES. THESE BEAGLES WERE FIRST RESCUED BACK IN MAY FROM A WISCONSIN RESEARCH BREEDING FACILITY THAT HAS BEEN THE FOCUS OF PROTEST. MORE THAN A THOUSAND DOGS ARE BEING REHOMED. THESE BEAGLES HAVE BEEN MISTREATED, AND THEY’RE A LITTLE SKITTISH. THE FASTER WE CAN GET THEM FROM POINT A TO B, THE LESS STRESS ON THE ANIMALS. Beagles rescued from testing facility flown to new homes in New York

Fifteen beagles rescued from a Wisconsin research breeding facility boarded a nonprofit rescue flight at Palm Beach International Airport this morning, heading to their new homes in New York. Michael Schneider, founder of Pilots to the Rescue, said, “Today we are really fortunate to have one of our board members flying 15 beagles up to New York in this clip jet.” Pilots to the Rescue has been transporting at-risk animals for more than 10 years, working alongside animal rescue organizations across the country. “It’s a tremendous sense of fulfillment to see the fruits of the end where they will be adopted by loving homes,” a pilot said. The beagles were first rescued in May from a Wisconsin research breeding facility that has been the focus of protests.
