Messina Hof Winery in Bryan is bringing back its beloved Harvest Festival with a full slate of wine-fueled events from July 25 through August 23. Guests can take part in Moonlit Harvests (Fridays), Daytime Harvests with brunch and sangria (Saturdays), and special experiences like a candlelit cellar dinner (July 26), immersive murder mystery nights (August 2 & 15), and a four-course game and wine dinner (August 9). The Grand Finale Gala on August 16 caps it all off in style. The celebration continues at Messina Hof Hill Country in Fredericksburg August 22–23.

Houston Food Bank’s epic annual fundraiser, Houston Restaurant Weeks, is around the corner, kicking off Friday, August 1 and running through Labor Day Monday, September 1. Restaurants across the city will offer multi-course menus fo dinner ($39 or 55), lunch ($25) and brunch ($25), with a $1 to $5 donation to the Houston Food Bank and its efforts to fight hunger across the region. This year’s restaurant list is now live, featuring featuring exciting newcomers like Barbacana and Okto, plus returning favorites from Pondicheri to longtime gem Rainbow Lodge.

Kenny & Ziggy’s, 1743 Post Oak, and more than 40 delis across the U.S. and Canada will celebrate the 10th Annual National Deli Month from August 1–31, spotlighting classic Jewish delicatessens and raising funds for local charities. All month long, Kenny & Ziggy’s will offer a $45 three-course menu benefiting Holocaust Museum Houston (includes a free museum ticket with each meal). delimonth.com

Heights summertime tradition White Linen Night is taking place on Saturday, August 2, with the official party going down on 19th Street from 6 to 10 p.m. Inspired by the French Quarter fest of the same name, the evening invites guests to dress in white and stroll through streets filled with live music, local bites and bevs, street performers and a lineup of artisan vendors. Tickets are $10 online or $20 at the door, with proceeds supporting neighborhood initiatives. Kids 12 and under get in free, and coolers and pets are welcome.

Christian’s Tailgate, 2820 White Oak, is going all out for White Linen Night on Saturday, August 2, kicking off at 6 p.m. with no cover and free parking, plus karaoke at 7 p.m., a DJ spinning late, drink specials, food trucks and tons of photo ops.

EZ’s Liquor Lounge, 3302 White Oak, is getting in on the WLN action with live music from Western Jelly Band from 7 to 10 p.m. and DJ EV from 10 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., plusfood from Ninfa’s on Navigation, parkling lot fun and more.
