JACKSONVILLE, Texas (KLTV) – Police detectives are investigating how three people were shot in two shootings that happened in less than an hour Sunday night in Jacksonville.
Around 9:35 p.m., Jacksonville PD reported multiple 911 calls about a shooting near Lincoln Park, near Davis Avenue and Holloway Avenue.
Officers located three adult males who were wounded by gunshots. The victims were taken to hospitals in private vehicles and were last known to be stable, a news release stated.
“As officers were responding to the initial incident and attempting to disperse a large crowd from the area, a large crowd gathered in the parking lot of 7-Eleven North at 202 North Jackson Street.”
Jacksonville Police say more gunshots shots were reported in that area around 10:10 p.m.
Detectives are working to identify those involved in both shooting incidents and are asking anyone with information to contact the Jacksonville Police Department at 903-586-2546.
