PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Police are continuing to search for a suspect after a shooting in central Phoenix on Tuesday night.
The shooting happened around 9 p.m. near 23rd Avenue and Hazelwood Street, south of Camelback Road. Crime scene tape is up around several homes in the area.
Witnesses at the scene said a teen girl was shot. Police have not released any details of the shooting or a suspect.
The police scene Wednesday morning is contained to a residential area and is not impacting any major roads.
