Shakira returned to North Texas on Tuesday night for her “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour 2026,” celebrating in World Cup style. With Dallas serving as a host city for the FIFA World Cup, it was fitting that Shakira performed a special “World Cup Edition” show.
It was a nearly two-hour spectacle featuring over 25 songs divided into four acts plus an encore. The evening was a true celebration that kept the sold-out crowd dancing from start to finish.
The night opened with “La fuerte,” “Girl Like Me” and a mashup of “Las de la Intuición” and “Estoy aquí.”

In June 2025, the Colombian singer performed at Globe Life Field in Arlington with the stadium version of her world tour. Now, at the American Airlines Center, the show was more intimate and musically more Latin. The atmosphere was created with an arena-adapted version featuring robotic lights, avatars, videos and giant screens surrounding Shakira on stage.

Throughout the show, the stage transformed through all these elements and we could see Shakira surrounded by a desert, swimming as a mermaid in the ocean or at a forest with a giant wolf.
For a World Cup edition show, this time the dress code for fans included jerseys from the national soccer teams of Colombia, Argentina and Mexico. There were also flags from those countries and characteristic Colombian paisa hats.

In the crowd among longtime Shakira fans there were also girls and boys eagerly anticipating songs like “Zoo” from Zootopia 2, which was enthusiastically sung and danced along to. Dancers in tiger costumes accompanied Shakira on stage for this catchy tune.
Shakira lent her voice to both Zootopia animated films: the first released in 2016 and the second that premiered in 2025, where her character Gazelle performed the song “Zoo.”
“Dai Dai,” the official song of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, was another highly anticipated song for Shakira’s younger fans. Equally anticipated, the classic “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa),” the official song of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, had the entire venue on its feet dancing.

The classics
The audience enjoyed singing along to Spanish classics from Shakira’s repertoire such as “Antología,” “Ojos así,” “La tortura” and “Estoy aquí.” On this occasion, the singer also performed her 1995 single “¿Dónde estás corazón?,” something she said she owed to her fans who had attended her previous tour last year.
It was impossible not to dance along with Shakira and her dancers to songs like “TQG,” “Soltera,” “La bicicleta” and the mashup of “Addicted to You” and “Loca.” The audience was moved by Shakira’s emotional performance of “Acróstico,” a song dedicated to her sons, Sasha and Milan, who accompanied her singing through videos on the screen.

Beyond being a great showwoman who moves gracefully and magnetically across the stage, Shakira appeared genuinely happy, interacting with the audience, speaking in both Spanish and English and savoring every moment on stage.

She had over 10 wardrobe changes and played electric guitar, drums and harmonica. She was accompanied by her six-member band who have been part of her tours for over two decades, plus two backup vocalists and eight dancers.
Shakira’s “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour 2026” will continue to Atlanta on June 26 and 28; July 1 and 2 in Miami, Florida; July 6 in Baltimore; and July 10 and 11 in Boston, among other dates. Beginning Sept. 18, she will continue with an 11-date residency in Madrid, Spain.
