The Dallas Wings made a roster move before their Friday night meeting with the Golden State Valkyries.
Guard Grace Berger has been signed to a second seven-day hardship contract, the team announced Thursday. Berger was initially signed to a seven-day hardship contract on July 16 and was waived Wednesday.
Berger played 10 minutes in the Wings’ 87-63 win over the Seattle Storm on Tuesday night. The guard posted four rebounds and two assists in her Wings debut.
Berger, the seventh overall pick in the 2023 WNBA draft, is expected to be available for Friday’s game against Golden State. According to the Wings, Dallas qualifies for a roster hardship due to injuries to Maddy Siegrist and Ty Harris.
