SAN ANTONIO – A man who was fatally shot after an Offer-Up deal gone wrong on Wednesday afternoon has been identified.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Eric James Zamora, 18, on Thursday.
The incident occurred around 2:45 p.m. near Mardell Street and West Ave.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, Zamora and a woman went to meet up with other people to conduct a deal on Offer-Up, an app used to buy and sell goods, when an argument broke out, resulting in gunfire.
Zamora was shot in the back during the altercation. A woman around the same age drove him to an apartment complex near Babcock and Loop 410, where he passed away.
