WELLESLEY ISLAND, New York (WWNY) – Wellesley Island State Park Golf Course is set to reopen for the season after finding a concessionaire.
At the end of May, the state said that opening the 9-hole course wouldn’t be feasible for the 2026 season after three attempts to find a concessionaire came up empty.
But word from the state came Friday that an agreement had been reached to reopen with concessionaire Mark Barrington, who also operates the camp store at Wellesley Island State Park.
The course will open July 1 and run through October 12.
