Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s thousand-plus guests have begun arriving to New York City ahead of the stars’ nuptials, largely believed to be taking place Friday at Madison Square Garden, the perimeter of which has been shut down for the occasion.
People confirmed that Mama Donna Kelce made it to Gotham Thursday, just in time for the “pre party celebration” reportedly set to start at 6:30 p.m.
Though the lovers, both 36, are believed to be hosting anywhere from 1,100 to 1,200 guests, it doesn’t seem they always intended to go big. A source back in September — mere weeks after the Kansas City Chiefs tight end popped the question — told People the couple would “keep it more private.”
“It will definitely be a private affair and not a spectacle,” the insider said at the time, back when the stars were reportedly planning to wed June 13 at Rhode Island’s Ocean House. “They both have a circle of friends, and they’ll respect their privacy.”
But the next month, Swift told Graham Norton she wouldn’t limit her guest list to those on the cusp of her “bubble.”
The beloved talk show host, 63, and his husband Jono McLeod reportedly touched down at John F. Kennedy International Airport Wednesday, as did Phoebe Waller-Bridge, according to The Sun.
Sabrina Carpenter, Swift’s most notable of Eras Tour openers, was spotted enjoying pizza Tuesday in the West Village earlier this week, according to a post making the rounds on X, formerly Twitter.

Also Tuesday, Entertainment Weekly reports that Ed Sheeran and The National’s Aaron Dessner, both collaborators and friends with Swift and each other, were hanging out together in Saratoga County. Swift and 35-year-old Sheeran have worked together on four songs. She’s collaborated with Dessner, 50, on four of the five albums she’s released this decade — as well as three of her re-released albums.
Reputation Tour opener Camila Cabello, another Dessner collaborator, was seen Wednesday in the city.
Variety, which spoke to more than a dozen insiders, said guests — whose level of fame runs the gamut from celebrity to corporate — are “flying blind” with regard to theme or dress code, with one guest dubbing the experience “a really fun s–t show.” The invites were sent digitally, with watermarks and previously reported toothless non-disclosure agreements.
The slightly less flashy but still prominent names among the invitees include AMC Theatres CEO Adam Aron as well as Disney honchos of past and present Bob Iger, David Greenbaum, and current president and chief creative officer Dana Walden. Swift sang the theme for the newest “Toy Story” film, which hit theaters last month, and her docuseries landed on Disney+ in 2025. The streamer is also the home of her Eras Tour films.
Though he will be busy on tour, Swift’s ex Harry Styles — understood as the inspiration for the bulk of her hit “1989” album and now engaged to her friend Zoë Kravitz — was invited. Kravitz is believed to be going to the wedding.
Steven Spielberg, who inducted Swift last month at the Songwriters Hall of Fame, as well as country stars Kelsea Ballerini, Kane Brown, Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris and Little Big Town have all also reportedly been invited.
