Anderson Real Estate. “We appreciate the partnership with the City, County and the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center (Freedom Center) to enliven this key space at The Banks while stakeholders pursue the long-term vision outlined in the Urban Plan Update.”The proposal includes commitments to generating financial benefits to the Freedom Center throughout the 3-year lease. “This project represents the value of public-private partnerships for the benefit of the entire community,” said Woodrow Keown, Jr., President and Chief Operating Officer of the Freedom Center. “The Freedom Center looks forward to contributing our expertise through family-friendly activities and productive conversations that honor Cincinnati’s historic role as a pathway to freedom.”Hamilton County Commission President Stephanie Summerow Dumas said, “Lot 18 Mini Golf is exactly the kind of family-friendly attraction that brings people together and creates new energy along The Banks. Whether you’re a lifelong resident or visiting downtown, this is a fun, welcoming space where families, friends, and neighbors can make memories together.”The next step in the process will be to bring the proposal before the Planning Commission on July 17.
