When Shania Twain takes the stage for the first of her two concerts at Jacksonville’s Daily’s Place amphitheater in July, the place might look a little familiar.
She’s never played at Daily’s Place, but she did draw 35,000 fans to what was then called Alltel Stadium. Daily’s and EverBank Stadium, as it’s now known, are literally attached: same parking lots, same concession stands, same restrooms, just the other side of the wall.
Twain, who plays July 29-30 at Daily’s Place, isn’t the first member of the “Both Sides of the Wall Club,” but it’s still fairly exclusive. Here are the other performers who have played in the stadium and the amphitheater.

Honorable mention
There are two acts that should at least get honorable membership in the club.
Blackberry Smoke played a 2018 stadium show with Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jason Aldean and Kid Rock, and were booked for a headlining show at Daily’s in 2021, but a band member tested positive for Covid backstage and the band was unable to play.
Susan Tedeschi and Derek Trucks have played the National Anthem at more than one Jaguars game, and their Tedeschi Trucks Band was the headliner on opening night at Daily’s Place in 2017, then returned to headline six more times at the venue.
Both sides of the Fence
As long as we’re at it, perhaps there should be a special affiliate, the Both Sides of the Fence Club.
Jon Pardi held two “drive-in” concerts in Lot J, where fans park for Daily’s Place shows, during the Covid era. Fans watched his concerts while socially distanced, seated in or around their cars. He also played on the Daily’s Place stage in 2017, 2019 and 2023.
The Welcome to Rockville festival was held just outside the Daily’s Place gate, in Lot J and Metropolitan Park, from 2011-19. Skillet, Evanescence, 3 Doors Down, Greta Van Fleet and Judas Priest have all played at Daily’s Place and at the festival. Lynyrd Skynyrd and Def Leppard have both headlined the festival and headlined a show in the stadium, but neither act has ever played at Daily’s Place.
