SAN ANTONIO — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents conducted a worksite operation on the south side of San Antonio, detaining more than 20 workers, according to eyewitnesses.
The operation took place around 2 p.m. near Marlin Pond and Fishing Trail.
When agents arrived, workers reportedly attempted to flee the scene. An ICE spokesperson confirmed the operation, stating, “U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement confirms the presence of law enforcement who conducted an enforcement operation on the south side of San Antonio. This activity is part of an ongoing investigation led by Homeland Security Investigations. No further details can be provided at this time.”
