Twelve people, including several children, were hurt overnight in a car crash in Sun Valley, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
The crash was reported just before 1:30 a.m. on the northbound side of the 5 Freeway at Sheldon Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol. There, calls were made to help several people who were hurt after a vehicle overturned.
A total of 12 people were hurt in the crash, including seven minors and five adults. One person was seriously injured while the 11 others were described as being in fair condition.
LAFD said all of the dozen of patients were in the same vehicle. It’s unclear what caused the crash.
