Boyle Heights—A man was wounded during an argument with another man in Boyle Heights, authorities said today.
The shooting occurred at 9:13 p.m. Friday at State Street and Pomeroy Avenue, according to a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman.

During the argument, a 35-year-old man allegedly shot the 44-year-old man and ran away, the spokesman said.
The victim was taken to a hospital in an ambulance where he had stable vital signs, the spokesman said.
