No full freeway closures were scheduled in metro Phoenix over the weekend, but cross streets along the Loop 101 were set to be closed, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and 31st Avenue will be closed in both directions at Loop 101, ADOT said.

Drivers were advised to allow for extra travel time and use detour routes while the weekend work took place, according to ADOT. Drivers can check az511.gov, the AZ511 app or call 511 to see real-time highway conditions, ADOT said.

The following road closures were scheduled from July 25 through July 28.

Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard in Scottsdale was scheduled to close in both directions at Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) from 9 p.m. July 25 to 5 a.m. July 28 for a widening project, according to ADOT. Consider using alternate routes, ADOT said.

Detour: Traffic will detour through the Loop 101 frontage toads.

31st Avenue closed at Loop 101

In Phoenix, 31st Avenue will be closed in both directions near Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway) from 10 p.m. July 25 until 5 a.m. July 28 for bridge work, ADOT said.

Eastbound and westbound Loop 101 frontage roads will also be closed between 27th and 35th avenues, according to ADOT.

Detour: Drivers can take 27th or 35th avenues to Yorkshire Drive or Deer Valley Road to avoid the closure.
