PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A deadly crash involving two semitrucks and an SUV closed a major road in west Phoenix Sunday.
First responders were called to the crash in the area of Buckeye Road and 71st Avenue just after 10:30 a.m.
Officials extricated a man from his vehicle but he was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
No other information about the crash was given.
Buckeye Road is closed in both directions while police investigate what led up to the crash. Drivers are asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
