Fort Worth-based Presta has acquired the mineral and royalty assets of a 98-year-old Oklahoma-focused company. The acquisition spans 96 counties across Oklahoma and 12 other states, adding significantly to Presta’s growing portfolio.

Led by founder Jonny Brumley, Presta has been steadily acquiring mineral properties since its founding in 2018. The company now holds more than 50,000 net mineral acres, with a strong presence in the Permian Basin, Arkoma Basin, Anadarko Basin, Williston Basin, and East Texas.

This latest acquisition marks Presta’s eighth successful deal with a family-controlled business.

The deal was financed through a mix of Presta’s own cash reserves and its credit facility from UMB Bank. Legal representation was provided by Kelly Hart.

As it continues to grow, Presta remains committed to partnering with families and individuals looking to partially or fully exit the oil and gas business. Presta is actively seeking new opportunities to invest.
