Suspicious package found at Fort Hamilton Parkway determined to be e-bike battery

The NYPD says its bomb squad and emergency service crews were investigating a suspicious package found at Fort Hamilton Parkway and 92nd Street.

Police say it happened at 11:45 a.m., and a safe perimeter was set up around the investigation.

Police deemed the package not to be suspicious, and authorities say it was an e-bike battery.

Officials say no injuries were reported. They also say to expect traffic delays in the area as they wrap up the investigation.
