Police look for driver who hit, killed pedestrian in north Phoenix

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Police are searching for a driver who struck and killed a man in north Phoenix early Tuesday morning.

Phoenix police said first responders were called to the area of 11th Avenue and Hatcher Road, north of Dunlape Avenue, around 7 a.m.

The man died at the scene. He has not been publicly identified. Police said there were obvious signs the man had been struck by a vehicle.

Police have not identified the driver or vehicle involved.
