LA CROSSE, Wis. (WSAW) – The La Crosse Police Department says, based on preliminary autopsy results, they do not believe there was any criminal conduct in the death of Eliotte Heinz.
Heinz, a 22-year-old graduate student at Viterbo University in La Crosse, was last seen just before 3:30 a.m. Sunday. Her body was found Wednesday in the Mississippi River, about 13 miles from La Crosse.
Final autopsy results will not be completed for several months.
