Sofía Vergara, known for starring in Modern Family and Griselda, shared a surprise update with fans on social media from a hospital bed.
The actress posted a couple of photos on July 25 as she wrote, “Its done! Round 2 🙏🏼❤️❤️#knee.” The first snap showed Vergara posing for a selfie in a hospital gown with her medical patient bracelet on her wrist, showing off her natural beauty.
The second photo was a close-up of her right knee in the hospital bed, with a big band-aid covering the left side while some sort of brace or device was situated around her calf. Vergara didn’t share any other details about the procedure.
Friends and fans shared support and wished Vergara a fast recovery with kind comments on the post.
Patrick Schwarzenegger commented, “Wishing you speedy recovery !!!!” while Justin Mikita, the husband of Vergara’s Modern Family co-star Jesse Tyler Ferguson, wrote, “I’m bringing you cake.”
“Swift healing, speedy recovery 😍❤️,” wrote one fan, as more said, “Hope it all goes well queen!” and “Beautiful even in a hospital gown!!! Speedy recovery, Sofia!!”
Vergara previously underwent knee surgery in early 2024, around the time that she was reported to be dating orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman.
