PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Police say a man was killed in a reported home invasion in the Camelback East neighborhood of Phoenix early Saturday morning.
Around 4 a.m., police received reports of a shooting at a home near 36th and Sheridan streets, south of Thomas Road. Investigators believe an unknown person broke into the home and shot the victim.
The victim, who has not yet been identified, died at the scene.
Phoenix homicide detectives are taking over the investigation. Arizona’s Family news crews witnessed a Phoenix police command van set up in the neighborhood and crime scene tape around the home.
