Police in the San Fernando Valley are searching for a driver who may have struck and killed a pedestrian overnight.
The incident was reported just before 1 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Sepulveda Boulevard and Wyandotte Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Police received a call about a pedestrian down on the street and upon arrival, officers confirmed the pedestrian was dead.
Details on the pedestrian, such as their gender and approximate age, were not immediately available. Their name has not been released.
The possibility of a hit-and-run remains under investigation.
