Evacuation warnings have been lifted in Lancaster after crews made good progress on a brush fire that broke out Saturday evening, officials said.
The “Juno Fire” was reported near Lancaster Road and Munz Ranch Road at about 5:20 p.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The blaze scorched 188 acres before its forward progress was stopped. It was 42% contained as of 7:45 p.m.

This comes as crews are continuing to make good progress on another fire that prompted evacuation orders in the Antelope Valley. The “Summit Fire” sparked Friday afternoon and has since burned around 2,700 acres near Llano.
The cause of both fires are under investigation.
