In recent years, the Northeast talent pools have been kind to Texas A&M, and the Aggies are diving back into familiar territory as one of the nation’s top defenders from one of the Northeast’s top programs has announced his Texas A&M commitment.
Ramsey (NJ) Don Bosco linebacker Mikahi Allen has established himself as a mainstay in the heart of the Don Bosco defense. Standing 6-foot-2 and 220 pounds, he is a physical playmaker in the middle, a threat off the edge and is equipped with the range to hit all areas of the field.
A longtime A&M target, Allen received his Aggie offer in May of 2025, and linebackers coach Travis Williams has led A&M’s recruiting efforts since his arrival in January.
Allen becomes the Aggies’ 26th commitment of the class and the 14th defensive addition.
He will also continue the Don Bosco legacy in Aggieland with OL Chase Bisontis heading to the NFL.
Widely regarded as one of the top prospects in New Jersey, Allen received offers from the likes of Auburn, Indiana, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas over the course of his recruiting process.
