SAN ANTONIO — Deputies have arrested multiple suspects for alleged drug and weapons-related charges on the city’s Westside.
On July 24, 2025, an operation by the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office Organized Crime Unit and SWAT led to the execution of simultaneous search warrants at two locations on the West Side of San Antonio. The operation was part of an ongoing criminal investigation.
The search warrants were executed at DJ’s Tire Shop #2, located at 1243 Culebra Rd, and another location in the 700 block of S. San Dario Ave. The searches resulted in the seizure of over a kilo of crystal methamphetamine, 16 grams of cocaine, four handguns, gang-related paraphernalia linked to a criminal biker gang, and nearly $1,300 in cash.
Following the operation, three suspects were arrested. Aaron Hernandez Rodriguez and Encarnacion Gutierrez were taken into custody at a separate location, while Marie Carmona was arrested at the tire shop. A fourth individual, Daniel Perales, was identified and faces charges related to possession of controlled substances.
All suspects were transported to South Tower Booking for processing. They face charges of manufacture and delivery of controlled substances and engaging in organized criminal activity.
The individuals taken into custody include:
- Aaron Hernandez Rodriguez, 53, charged with manufacture/delivery of controlled substance PG1 ≥ 400g, manufacture/delivery of controlled substance PG1 ≥ 4g {
- Encarnacion Gutierrez, 54, charged with manufacture/delivery of controlled substance PG1 ≥ 400g and manufacture/delivery of controlled substance PG1 ≥ 4g {
- Marie Carmona, 51, charged with manufacture/delivery of controlled substance PG1 ≥ 400g and manufacture/delivery of controlled substance PG1 ≥ 4g {
- Daniel Perales, 54, charged with possession of controlled substance PG1/1-B ≥ 1g {
All suspects were transported to the Bexar County Jail for their charges.
