Authorities are investigating a plane crash near Piseco Airport around 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Federal Aviation Administration officials said.
According to the FAA, a Cessna 182 crashed near the airport Sunday night. Only the pilot was on board, officials say.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office reports one person was killed in the crash, though no further information was provided.
The identity of the crash victim has not been identified at this time.
The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the crash.
