PHOENIX — A commercial fire required firefighters to take to the roof of a building in Phoenix on Friday night.
The fire started around 10:30 p.m. near the intersection of 19th Avenue and Roosevelt Road.
How was the fire extinguished?
Various motor parts were found on fire inside the building as firefighters worked their way inside, according to the report.
The roof was accessed for vertical ventilation after firefighters forced entry into the building with hose lines to attack the flames.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
