Woman, 50, critically injured in Bronx hit-and-run when scooter driver slams into her

A woman was critically injured in a hit-and-run when the driver of a motorized scooter slammed into her in the Bronx, cops said.

The victim, 50, was crossing White Plains Road when the scooter slammed into her at the intersection of East Gun Hill Road in Williamsbridge around 4:19 p.m. Monday, according to law enforcement.

Medics rushed the victim to Jacobi Medical Center in critical condition.

The scooter driver drove off after the crash, cops said.
