Preliminary results: Solange Whitehead leads the race for 3 Scottsdale City Council seats

Initial results for the Scottsdale City Council election show Solange Whitehead with an early lead.

Polls closed for Arizona’s primary election at 7 p.m. July 21. The Maricopa County Recorder’s Office released the initial results shortly after 8 p.m.

Votes will continue to be counted in the coming days and no results are final until canvassed, but Whitehead was in the lead with 23,001 votes (18.4% of the ballots counted so far) after the Maricopa County Recorder’s office released initial results.
