Over time, additional apps can be released thanks to a developer kit. The Light Flip is equipped with a 5G modem and a USB-C port, but otherwise relies on relatively simple hardware. The Light Flip features a 50-megapixel camera, though it only saves 12-MP photos, a 3.5-mm headphone jack, a 1,800-mAh battery that can be replaced by the user, a nano-SIM, and an eSIM, as well as a MediaTek MT8873, which features four ARM Cortex-A78 performance cores and four Cortex-A55 efficiency cores. It also comes with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash storage.
