SEGUIN, Texas — The Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Auto Theft Unit closed two major stolen property investigations this week.
The first investigation began in February 2025 and was launched after the Sheriff’s Office received multiple reports of stolen skid steers in the Marion and Cibolo areas. This led to the identification and arrest of Nicholas Beintema, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
A second investigation occurred in June 2025 following reports of stolen trailers from various storage facilities across the county. The investigation identified Kendarious Goodlow as a suspect. During a sting operation, undercover officers met Goodlow in Comal County to purchase a suspected stolen trailer. Goodlow was arrested while attempting to sell another stolen trailer.
Goodlow was returned to Guadalupe County, where investigators interviewed him and linked him to several other trailer thefts in the area. Investigators suspect there may be additional unreported trailer thefts from storage facilities in and around Guadalupe County.
Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding recent trailer thefts or purchases from storage facilities to contact the GCSO Auto Theft Unit at 830-379-1224.
