PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Every week, Arizona’s Family looks up restaurants recently inspected by Maricopa County’s Environmental Services Department. Restaurants with some of the highest numbers of “risk factors,” considered major health code violations by inspectors, are selected for our Dirty Dining Report. Here are the Valley restaurants that did not make the grade for July 22, 2026:
Senior Sushi – 10738 N 75th Ave, Peoria
3 violations:
- No sanitizer in dishwasher
- Chicken wings out of temperature
- Containers of sliced chicken not date marked properly
Cha Tea – 1911 W Main Street, Mesa
3 violations:
- No certified food manager
- No paper towels at hand wash sink
- Cooked pork and chicken not date marked
KPOT Korean BBQ and Hot Pot – 1940 W Rio Salado Pkwy, Mesa
4 violations:
- Raw fish stored over SPAM
- Fried rice on buffet not hot enough
- Fruit on buffet not cold enough
- Dishes not cleaned correctly
Bosa Donuts – 2990 N Dobson Rd, Chandler
4 violations:
- No certified food manager
- Employee drinks/personal items on prep tables
- Two employees handling ready to eat food without washing hands
- Deli ham and turkey out of temperature
My Thai Bowl – 1065 E Baseline Rd, Gilbert
5 violations:
- Employee touched face then prepped food
- Box of fried tofu sitting on counter out of temperature
- Raw eggs not kept cold enough
- Cold medication stored over prep area
- Build up of organic debris above friers
