SAN ANTONIO — A homicide investigation is underway after a male victim was found shot in front of some businesses off of Highway 90 on Friday and ultimately died at the hospital.
Police and fire officials were called to the scene around 11:30 p.m. off of U.S. Highway 90 and Frontier Drive on the city’s West Side.
Officials say a caller reported a male victim was down and discovered a gunshot wound after checking on him. The 24-year-old male was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition but ultimately succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
Police have not released any information on possible suspects or witnesses. The victim’s identity is not known at this time.
