Six teens could face charges under Preston’s Law after Surprise police investigated an alleged group assault on a 15-year-old at an April pool party. An attorney for the 15-year-old victim says he was lured to a pool party near Sarival Avenue and Greenway Road, where a group allegedly attacked him before throwing him into a pool. Witness videos of the incident circulated online, and the victim later made it home, where his mother called police.
