With 99% of the ballots from the July 21 primary election counted, it looks like Scottsdale City Councilwoman Solange Whitehead will serve a third term in office.

Based on the numbers so far, Whitehead received 28,228 votes, which is 17.5% of the vote.

That’s almost 4,100 votes more than her closets competitor, Michelle Ugenti-Rita, who took 24,137 votes (14.96%).
